Below are the options for schools and councils wishing to organise workshops for their students or community
Standard Workshop $275 per workshop
This is our standard workshop, it lasts for 2 hours and goes through one of our projects. This workshop fits in with the ACARA curriculum and you can select which project you would like us to teach from our projects page. This workshop can be integrated into the curriculum for a ten week term, purchased as the beginning of a section on electronics or as a further workshop to get kids interested in STEM careers.
Price on purchase of multiple workshops is negotiable.
Workshops might be opened with a demonstration of advanced student projects or a presentation by sparky depending on students previous experiences with STEMSEL
Once we have the students settled in we present them with a problem to be solved using one of our STEMSEL microchips. The students are given a brief preview of what can be done to solve the problem and are allowed to go about finding their solution with the assistance of our STEMSEL RoboAngels (University student interns).
Fast finishers are offered extension challenges on how they could further improve their solution or how to overcome specific challenges to implementation.
